Finding A Psychic Impression In A Picture

Psychic impressions don’t have to come from tarot cards, or a psychic’s mind. They can come from any picture that calls you.

I was home in Manhattan recently, set to begin a woman’s reading by phone, when I tapped my computer’s keypad to check the time. I’d previously been downloading pictures from a hike I’d taken in the mountains of Hawaii. The screen lit up with one of those photos.
I found myself staring into the picture, letting my imagination turn it into something other than it was. I’ve learned I’m more likely to see psychic impressions by associating with an image, than by looking at the actual image itself.

A few minutes into her reading, my client said: “Last weekend I went to this party with my girlfriend, and he was there!” [‘He’ was her part-time lover, a man who was engaged to a woman not present at the party.]

As soon as she said this, I saw these trees as a merry group of people standing in a circle at a cocktail party. Perhaps you can imagine what I’m describing.

The two paler trees to the left appear to be a couple intertwined in a kiss. Above them, a curvaceous, dark snake rises up to bite one of their necks!

Some of the bystanders are in shock at the scene playing out before them. Or conversely, I could imagine those characters as indifferent. But one of them, far right, seems to be leaning back in laughter. In fact, he’s leaning so far back, I wondered if he was performing yoga. I imagined him doing the sun salutation.

Look again at the photo; see if you can see how I imagined it.

She continued, “Even though my girlfriend knows I love him, she was still flirting with him. They were even dirty dancing! I was so jealous.”

My God, this guy has a fiancé plus two women after him? He must have some charisma!

Anyway, the scene I imagined in the photo projected a symbolic reflection of my client’s love triangle.

I assigned the intertwined trees on the left as my client and her lover, her friend as the snake poised to bite them.

As I looked back at the picture I wondered, who is the guy on the right leaning back in laughter? I said, “I see a man there who looked upon this situation in amusement.”

“Oh. That’s my ex,” she said. “He won’t let go of me. He egged her on, I know it.”

“Does he do yoga?”

“He teaches yoga.”

Bingo. I love when that happens. It’s what makes a psychic reading special.

Next time you gaze into a picture and see something else in it, stop and ask yourself how your imaginings are familiar. They could quite possibly reflect a psychic impression.

The anecdotes we share from our psychic experiences seem to proffer themselves as modern allegories.

These stories—of coincidences, dreams, and deja vu—are woven with metaphorical themes that call to be interpreted.

I have the feeling that each installment represents one piece of a thousand-piece puzzle.
Slowly, a more comprehensive picture of what psychic experiences might offer us is emerging.

I'm in the process of transferring posts from another blog into this one. Thanks for visiting!
