A paragraph I edited out of my last post turned out to be a psychic vision! It was a point I'd made about tuning into patterns, an essential aptitude for tapping into psychic consciousness.
The paragraph ran:
"If you were to notice red, orange and yellow mushrooms, you might then wonder if mushrooms also came in green, blue and purple. The very pattern of red, orange and yellow suggests the presence of a broader spectrum of colors. By wondering if mushrooms came in green, blue and purple, you would open the way for those mushrooms to appear in your waking reality."
At the time I thought the idea worthy of further exploration so I saved the text.
Some days later a friend and I spent some time hiking in New York’s Catskill Mountains. We’d no sooner started our journey to Giant Ledge, that I encountered this little gem to the left:
Did you notice the inchworm? What we notice, notices us back. Anything new that you are to experience in life must be filtered through your interested mind.
Mushrooms are the forest's cleansers. In addition to absorbing toxins and exchanging nutrients with trees, fungi break down dead wood and plant debris, creating fertile material for new life. Many medicines come from mushrooms, including Penicillin. Thinking of them reminded me it was time for a detox diet.
Let your curiosity be taken by any emerging patterns, or coincidences, that catch your attention in life. As you watch patterns unfold, notice how your wonder is matched by the Universe’s wonder.
Bring the spirit of AMAZEMENT to your wondering. You will then be pleasantly surprised.
We look to patterns to establish proof of theories.
What kind of theories do you want the Universe to validate for you?
By displaying the variously colored mushrooms to me, the Universe was in effect replying, “Yes, mushrooms come in all colors.”
As the diversity of mushrooms presented themselves to me I thought, “There’s something ethereal about them, almost celestial.”
And the Universe replied:
