The Telephone booth

I had a client recently who had some problems with a boyfriend. She loved him, but he was sending her mixed signals as to a commitment. He was also lame at texting, she said. She was wondering whether she should reach out to him or wait to see if he reached out to her.

When I looked at this picture of a telephone booth, I thought, telephone booths only ring in the movies—and usually spy flicks. They’re not for incoming calls. So I said, “If I were you, I’d call him.”

Then I added, “Does he work in law?”

“How on earth did you know that?”

“The building behind the booth looks like something institutional, maybe a museum or courthouse?”

Sometimes a client is in a situation where they might need a lawyer. This card says yes to me.
